Poul-Erik Almsøe is an extremely inspiring and competent learning consultant with many years of experience of management training and education, both in Scandinavia and internationally. Special communication skills and a strong sense of interaction with the seminar participants - irrespective of number and composition of the audience - have made him a sought-after consultant and key-note speaker.
Poul-Erik Almsøe has become renowned for his ability to both inspire to change the organizational culture and to ensure that the change is implemented and produces the desired result. Poul-Erik Almsøe was a commissioned officer and was active in the line staff of the Danish Army until 1972. Later he took up civilian work with focus on Human Resource Management and Training, first as the Training and Education Manager of IBM and next as the Managing Director of Scandinavian Service School – a joint venture between SAS and TMI. Poul-Erik Almsøe was employed by TMI in 1982 and was appointed Managing Director of TMI USA in San Francisco in 1985. Since 1986 he has been a member of the Board of Directors and Vice President of TMI.
Thanks to his professionalism, cultural understanding and communication skills, he has acquired profound insight into multi-cultural training processes in the markets where TMI operates. Being in charge of international projects, Poul-Erik Almsøe has coordinated several international educational processes in cooperation with TMI's partners in Europe, USA and Asia. Amongst these, development projects for ABB, Alstom, Astra-Zeneca, General Motors, GlaxoSmithKline, Hewlett-Packard, Intergraph, Danish, Norwegian and Swedish Dental Association, PSA (Peugeot-Citroën), SAS Institute and Sedgwick deserve special mention. He has been running seminars for most of them in various countries.
Poul-Erik is an expert in management development, coaching, performance management, sales, complaint handling and service quality. In his capacity as international chief instructor and coach, he is also involved in the training of TMI consultants globally, and is an accomplished and well respected key note speaker.
